A new cooperation between Blue Water Shipping A/S, DSV Transport A/S, Bandholm Havn and Johs. Rasmussen Svebølle A/S ensures the most favourable transport solutions for rocks, crushed stone, gravel and other materials for infrastructure projects in the Lolland/Falster area.

"With this cooperation, we are able to offer a large capacity of vessels for all types of assignments, own port facilities with a unique location and flexible shipbroking and port-related services. Also, we have a large capacity of trucks at our disposal for these assignments. This gives our clients control of the entire logistics chain and one crucial advantage - one supplier, who coordinates all assignments", says Niels Tolstrup, Head of Development for Blue Water.

Bandholm Port has an important location for delivery of materials as it is close to the motorway. With excellent quay facilities, the port is able to handle large quantities of materials and several ships can call into port at the same time. Furthermore, there are good possibilities for storage of materials and cranes at the port.

"We know that time is of great value for large infrastructure projects, but the efforts that the four companies have put into this cooperation will ensure that the construction materials will be delivered on time - and at the right price", says Niels Tolstrup.
