In US discussing offshore wind

The AWEA conference in Baltimore was a good opportunity to discuss how offshore logistics can be optimized in the future

Blue Water was invited to participate in a panel discussion at a pre-event to the AWEA conference and exhibition (American Wind Energy Association) and also participated at AWEA. Both the pre-event, arranged by The Business Network for Offshore Wind, and the AWEA event were hosted in Baltimore.

Blue Water was invited based on our many years of experience in offshore wind, especially in Europe.

"This was a good chance for us to talk to other players within the industry and discuss optimization in the logistical chain. It was very exciting to hear different views on the future possibilities", says Jacob Kjærgaard from Blue Water Esbjerg.

US will soon have its first offshore wind farm installed - the Block Island Project - where also BWS is involved.
