Blue Water assisted in transporting three gyroplanes to Iceland
The cruise went according to plan and we have heard that the tour of Iceland was a giant success
On behalf of Mikkel Palmbo from Auto-Gyro Nordic ApS, Stenløse (Copenhagen) Blue Water Hirtshals arranged transport of three gyroplanes (lightweight aircrafts) to Iceland on board Smyril Line's freight and passenger ferry "Nörröna".
Mikkel Palmbo, who was entrusted with the job of pilot and tour guide on an adventure "touring Iceland by gyroplane", was flying one of the gyroplanes to Hirtshals from Copenhagen. The two other planes arrived from Germany.
"Before arrival, we cleared FjordLine's approach area in Hirtshals so that the gyroplanes would be able to land close to our area at the terminal and taxi directly onboard the car deck. The cruise went according to plan and we have heard that the tour of Iceland was a giant success", reports Jan Nørgaard, Manager Freight Forwarding in Hirtshals.
