First Indonesian wind farm project
Blue Water has acted as stevedores for Bilfinger Marine & Offshore Systems GmbH in connection with the installation of the foundations on the Sandbank Offshore Wind Project.
We are proud to deliver a complete solution to MENCK including transport of their hammer as well as stevedoring and agency services at Lindo
Following the installation of the 72 monopiles and transition pieces, the project has entered its final phase where demobilisation is in process.
"It has been interesting to be part of the project and assist Bilfinger. We are very pleased that Bilfinger chose Blue Water for this assignment", says Brian Sørensen, Business Development Manager in Blue Water Wind.
In connection with the demobilisation, Blue Water also carries out the stevedore operations when the world's largest hydraulic hammer, MENCK's MHU3500S, will be returned to MENCK from the renter Bilfinger.
Also, Blue Water has chartered a vessel which will transport the hammer from Esbjerg to Lindo. Here, Blue Water Lindo will receive the hammer for storage at our terminal until the next project.
"We are proud to deliver a complete solution to MENCK including transport of their hammer as well as stevedoring and agency services at Lindo. This shows Blue Water's strong position in several Danish ports", says Nikolaj Buurgaard Sørensen, Operations Manager at Blue Water.
