Discussing future possibilities
Employment of a new colleague and moving into larger facilities will prepare Blue Water Sonderborg for the expected growth of the future
Throughout the latest year, Blue Water Sonderborg has experienced a high demand for their logistics services. The office handles a large amount of shipments on a daily basis and has experienced an increase in volumes within sea and air freight as well as in road traffics. Blue Water Sonderborg mainly handles industrial cargo and commodities and the logistics solutions are based on the individual needs of the clients.
The positive growth in the business and the expectations of the future is the basis for hiring Dorthe Seemann, who was employed in December as freight forwarding agent.
Another step towards becoming the most preferred transport company locally, is Blue Water Sonderborg’s relocation to larger facilities. However, the address remains the same.
Blue Water Sonderborg was established in 2015, when Als Logistics became part of Blue Water. The founder of Als Logistics, Flemming Bruun Sørensen, is today the General Manager of the office which is now part of a strong organisation with 1,400 employees worldwide. A large amount of the cargo from Blue Water Sonderborg is consolidated at Blue Water’s recently opened cargo terminal in Taulov where up to 1,000 trailers are handled weekly. The terminal has been built to match the increasing cargo volumes.
