Blue Water has been responsible for the entire transport from Esbjerg, Denmark to Shenzhen, China

18 August, 2017, Blue Water Shipping loaded 16 components designed and manufactured by Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S for the construction of a huge waste incineration plant in Shenzhen, China.
The shipment weighed 370 tonnes and consisted of grid sections for two DynaGrate® combustion systems and other components. The grates are used to convey and handle the municipal solid waste fuel used in the power plant.
Blue Water has been responsible for the entire transport from crane loading at B&W Vølund’s production site in Esbjerg, Denmark, transport to the port, ship loading and the carriage to Shenzhen in China. Blue Water has also collected goods from B&W Vølund’s suppliers and packed containers for shipment.

The loading of the 16 components was the first of three shipments of equipment.
"It's a pleasure to be part of a local collaboration on a complex project like this. We are proud to be able to support B&W Vølund and the local relationship is important to us. The first of a total of three shipments was completed as planned," says Allan Dahl Leiberg from Blue Water.
When the components arrive in Shenzhen at the beginning of October, they will be installed in the plant, which will transform waste into energy. The plant combusts municipal waste to produce steam, which is used to turn turbines to generate electricity.
In autumn 2017, Blue Water will make two more shipments for the project.
