Blue Water’s Aid and Relief team are still working both day and night to help with the logistical challenge of transporting thousands of tons of aid kits and aid materials to those in need.

“Together with our agents in Santo Domingo, The Dominican Republic, we have loaded a barge with all kinds of aid items. The barge will go for a three-week tour to bring aid and assistance to the many families around the region to rebuild their houses and getting them back to a normal life again after Irma and Maria smashed everything”, says Johnny Mortensen, Head of Blue Water’s Aid & Relief department.

The aim is to provide aid to Barbuda, Antigua, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, St Martin, Turks and Caicos, which were some of the most affected islands. As the animal life in several locations has suffered severely, there is also risk of disease spreading from dead animals to the local population.

The local governments as well as the international humanitarian aid organizations are doing a lot to help and we proudly assist and take part in the rebuilding process.
