It was a tough competition when FLO (Forsvarets Logisstikkorganisasjon – Defense Logistics Organisation) chose its partners. Eleven suppliers were part of the selection, and Blue Water managed to win the tender for three out of five transport areas.

Part loads and full loads globally

The agreement covers part loads and full loads globally. In addition, the contract also includes special and project shipments. For the latter area, Blue Water is one among several suppliers.

“Blue Water has cooperated with the Norwegian Armed Forces since 2014 delivering part loads globally. It is important that the new contract covers full loads as well, because we did not deliver that in our previous contract. It enables us to create even better solutions for the Norwegian Armed Forces which is a strategically important client for us within the Defense segment in Norway and Sweden”, says Rolf Brustad, Director for Blue Water Norway.

FLO provides logistics services to the Norwegian Armed Forces and defense sector in times of peace, crisis, conflict and war. FLO renews, simplifies and improves the logistics with civilian and military employees representing strong competencies and years of experience within logistics.
