Blue Water will remain logistics provider to Faerch Plast
We are pleased to continue developing this cooperation with Blue Water
The long-time cooperation between Faerch Plast and Blue Water has existed for more than 30 years and Blue Water is very happy and proud that the parties have just recently renewed an extensive agreement covering road transport as well as an option on sea, air and courier freight for Faerch, who is one of the leading manufacturers of plastic packaging to the food industry. The agreement, which so far has an annual value of approx. DKK 100 million for Blue Water, covers more than 25,000 transports for Faerch’s factories primarily in Denmark, England, Spain and the Czech Republic to the whole of Europe.
“Customers like Faerch make heavy demands on their logistics providers as efficient and safe delivery are all-important to the customers. Consequently, we are being challenged and forced to do our utmost to deliver a high level of service and high quality. And when things are not satisfactory, they will let us know. But the close and constructive cooperation also means that together we create efficient and value-adding solutions”, says Kurt Skov, Blue Water’s Founder and Executive Chairman.
Faerch Plast, which is headquartered in Holstebro, Denmark, employs more than 1,300 people at the company’s eight factories and in several sales offices in Europe. Faerch Plast’s long-time cooperation with Blue Water is based on a good and open dialogue, with the distinct purpose of ensuring the best service for Faerch’s customers.
“Blue Water is our long-time logistics partner and we are pleased that we also in the years to come can continue developing this cooperation and invite Blue Water to join us on Faerch’s strong growth adventure”, says Lars Gade Hansen, Group CEO of Faerch Plast.
