For several years, ED & T Man has had a tank system in the port of Esbjerg, and the company imports approx.95,000 tons of fish oil by tankers every year, mainly from Peru. A major part of the fish oil is subsequently reloaded on to minor tankers for onward transportation to Norway and UK in particular.
“We are proud of being appointed agents for the vessels calling at Esbjerg in connection with ED & T Man’s import and export, and we look forward to this cooperation”, says Mikkel Puggaard, Agency Operational Manager, Blue Water Esbjerg.
Established in 1783, ED & F Man is an employee-owned agricultural commodities merchant, with 7,000 employees in 60 countries, trading fish oil, sugar, coffee, molasses, animal feed, grains and pulses. The company also has a long history trading alcohol as they supplied the British Royal Navy with rum for almost 200 years.
