Here information on how Blue Water Shipping is handling the growing challenges with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), where the latest development is that countries around the globe are restricting travel and traffic – also across borders.
So far, transport of cargo is not restricted, but we expect that the current situation in the weeks to come will affect cargo transport. Our daily operation is up and running, but not at a normal pace, and we expect that there may be waiting times and other irregularities in transports.
Blue Water is – and will remain to be - able to handle our customers’ shipment and transports. At several locations part of our staff is working from home, but all our employees are dedicated and will do their utmost to continuously provide the best possible services despite the current challenges.
We anticipate that extra costs may occur carrying out transport in this difficult situation, and therefore we reserve the right to debit these to our customers’ account. However, we will try to the greatest extent possible to discuss the concrete options with each customer, so that together we can find the best solution.
We apologise for any delays and restrictions that may occur in the future, and we encourage you to approach your usual contact at Blue Water if you have any questions.
We are monitoring the developments in order to enable continued services for our customers and the running operation – showing respect for the limitations of current and future restrictions and recommendations.
