As part of an ongoing strategic focus on strengthening the Projects division, Blue Water Shipping is pleased to welcome Anna Ude as VP, Projects Europe, with effect from 1 September 2026. Anna joins Blue Water with more than 20 years of industry experience spanning both operational and commercial leadership roles.

Throughout her career, Anna has built deep expertise in project logistics, customer relationship management and strategic business development. Most recently, she held the position of Regional Head of Sales at deugro, with responsibility for sales management across Central Europe. Her career also includes positions within project logistics and business development at DB Schenker and Hansa Meyer Global.

In her new role, Anna will lead the development of Blue Water’s Projects business across Europe, with responsibility for commercial performance, operational development and strategic growth across the region. A key focus will be strengthening customer relationships and developing the European Projects organisation while connecting local expertise and capabilities across Blue Water.

“Europe has always been an important market for project logistics, with significant opportunities both domestically and across trade lanes. Strengthening our Projects business in the region requires strong leadership, commercial understanding and solid operational experience. Anna brings exactly that combination,” says Andy Tite, SVP Projects at Blue Water Shipping.

“We are very excited to welcome Anna to the team. She is a commercially astute and knowledgeable leader in the industry, and she understands what it takes to win and successfully execute project logistics contracts to the highest standards. Combined with her ability to build strong relationships and lead teams, she was the obvious choice for the role.”

For Anna Ude, Blue Water’s culture and values were an important part of the decision to join the company.

“Blue Water’s culture is very much aligned with my values and the way I like to work. I value teamwork, a solution-oriented approach and growing the business through long-term relationships. I’m looking forward to getting to know the people, gaining a deeper understanding of the way things work and learning more about Blue Water overall.”

“The greatest opportunities come from being close to the market and our clients, understanding their needs and anticipating how they are changing. Blue Water has strong local expertise across Europe, and by sharing that knowledge and working together as one team, I believe we can develop solutions that address those needs and create even more value for our clients,” says Anna Ude.

Anna will be based in Hamburg, from where she will lead the European Projects organisation.
