Blue Water Singapore engages customers and suppliers in sustainable solutions
55 customers and suppliers joined Blue Water and Climate Impact X to explore carbon reduction through more sustainable transport and logistics
At Blue Water, sustainability is considered part of our responsibility as well as a business opportunity. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, Blue Water has partnered with Climate Impact X to host an exclusive event for customers focused on responsible transport and logistics solutions. The event brought together 55 engaged customers and suppliers to explore the options for sustainable transport and logistics.
Blue Water’s collaboration with Climate Impact X, established last year, reflects our shared ambition to drive meaningful change in the logistics industry. At yesterday’s exclusive event, the participants gained valuable insights into practical decarbonisation strategies and discussed the developing landscape of sustainable logistics.

Insights and actionable strategies
The day began with Rasmus Nutzhorn, Global Head of ESG & Sustainability at Blue Water, presenting the broader sustainability agenda and outlining strategic approaches to decarbonisation. Following this, Gaurav Julka from Climate Impact X provided an overview of carbon credits and their role in market-based decarbonisation.
To illustrate real-world application, Florian Pinz, Managing Director Energy, Ports & Projects SG & MY, showcased sustainability initiatives already in place at Blue Water Singapore. Ezekiel Phua then highlighted the tools and services Blue Water offers today – including load and supply chain optimisation, CO2 calculation, alternative fuels and compensation solutions.
Investing in certified carbon projects is one of the most accessible ways for companies to begin their sustainability journey. Through Blue Water’s collaboration with Climate Impact X, businesses are enabled to take credible climate action by offering tailored carbon credit portfolios through a vast network of global project suppliers.
