Blue Water unites Aarhus operations
New premises at Aarhus Port to lay the foundations for growth
Blue Water is consolidating its operations in Aarhus at a new office building located in the heart of the Port of Aarhus – Denmark’s largest container port. The new office will officially open on 23 June 2025.
By merging its two existing Aarhus sites, Blue Water is strengthening its presence in East Jutland and creating a powerful platform for growth, efficiency, and internal synergy. Approx. 140 employees will be based at the new port location.
“By bringing all our activities together under one roof, we gain significant synergies and enhance both our internal workflows and customer service. The location at the Port of Aarhus also gives us unique proximity to one of Denmark’s key logistics hubs,” says Jan Dam Poulsen, Regional Senior Vice President.
The new office is tailored to meet the logistics and shipping needs of the future and supports Blue Water’s ambitions for innovation and expansion. It brings together a wide range of services under one roof, including sea, road, air, and courier transport, as well as specialised and project logistics, stevedoring and agency services. The consolidation enables tighter coordination between teams and improved customer experience.
