Singapore warehouse capacity tripled to support regional growth
The upgraded facility is built to accommodate complex, oversized cargo and project logistics
Blue Water’s Singapore warehouse has relocated to a significantly larger warehouse facility at 20 Gul Way expanding from 7,000 sqm to 20,000 sqm. “With increased storage, faster turnaround and greater flexibility, we now deliver even greater value to our clients in the oil and gas, floating production systems, mining and marine segments in the region,” says Jason Goh, Regional Senior Vice President of Energy, Ports & Projects, Asia.
Time-critical project logistics and cross-border transport
Located in the Jurong industrial estate, the upgraded facility is purpose-built to accommodate complex, oversized cargo and project logistics. With 20 loading bays, automated dock levellers, a 10,000 sqm marshalling yard and excellent connectivity to airport, seaports and Malaysia's Tuas second link, the facility supports efficient warehousing solutions for time-critical operations.
This expansion also reflects our ongoing commitment to safety, compliance and sustainability. The warehouse is equipped with state-of-the-art security systems, robust HSSEQ protocols and a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) for real-time tracking and optimised operations. "Customers rely on us for our professionalism. Safe and secure storage is a crucial part of the value we bring to the supply chain,” notes Florian Pinz, Managing Director of Energy, Ports & Projects, Singapore and Malaysia.
In addition, the expanded 3PL capabilities now include a 488-pallet heavy-duty racking system and two electric forklifts - supporting both high-volume storage and CO₂ reduced cargo handling. Our electric forklifts are operating with zero emissions and reduces an estimated 9 tonnes of CO₂ per year. In addition, the switch to energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the warehouse saves an estimated 16.8 tonnes of CO₂ per year.
Stronger teams, stronger service
"All warehouse staff are trained to operate specialised equipment like 45-tonne reach stacker and 2-16 tonne forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient workflows. The new office space is also redesigned to prioritise employee's well-being and customer collaboration. We can now provide a comprehensive range of 3PL services,” adds Kevin Sandhu, Head of 3PL Services, Energy, Ports & Projects, Asia.
