Blue Water has published its Sustainability Statement 2025, presenting a transparent overview of how environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations are addressed across the organisation.

The statement reflects the sustainability topics most relevant to Blue Water’s business and stakeholders, and how these are managed in practice, based on a double materiality assessment.

In 2025, Blue Water continued to strengthen its approach to sustainability reporting, building on last year’s alignment with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). While the statement does not yet constitute full CSRD reporting, it incorporates key elements of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and supports transparency and comparability.

“We remain committed to transparency and accountability, and to demonstrating how ESG is embedded in our way of working. This sustainability statement provides insight into the actions we have taken and the progress we are making,” says Blue Water’s CEO Thomas Bek.

Measurable progress

The Sustainability Statement is structured around five material topics identified through a double materiality assessment: Climate Change, Resource Use and Circular Economy, Own Workforce, Workers in the Value Chain and Business Conduct.

This year, Blue Water continued to develop its sustainability efforts through structured data, internal processes, supplier engagement and customer dialogue. A key milestone during the year was the validation of our climate targets by the Science Based Targets initiative, reinforcing our focus on measurable progress. At the same time, our sustainability work extends beyond climate and includes health and safety, ethical business conduct, data protection and strong governance across our global value chain.

The Sustainability Statement 2025 is now available and provides a detailed overview of Blue Water’s ESG work, progress and priorities. We invite you to explore the report and learn more about how sustainability is addressed across our organisation.
