A strong education in international transport and logistics

Becoming a trainee at Blue Water Shipping will boost your career and development by providing you with the tools and training to become an expert in the industry engaged in a team of professional colleagues.

The programme splits into two main stages:

Year 1: working at the office in your home country.
Year 2: working in one of our worldwide offices abroad. Here you will be getting the opportunity to expand your international experience and business network.

Practice-oriented job training at your office is supplemented by seven weeks of theoretical courses during the two years. Half of the teaching weeks are at the Business Academy at the headquarter in Denmark. The other half of the teaching weeks are online lectures. Both held in English.

The theoretical courses involve:

Road, Sea, Air and Rail transport
Multimodal and Project transports
Customs formalities
Terminal and Warehousing
International Transport law
Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Business process optimisation
Economics and Service

The programme will allow you to connect solid practical experience given in your daily work with theoretical knowledge.

Job requirements

have completed secondary school, high school or equivalent
be fluent in English
