Strategically located Houston warehouse opened
Tailored warehouse solutions just miles from Houston’s international airport
Blue Water Houston recently opened a brand-new warehouse located less than five miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. This strategic location offers the advantage of being close to both suppliers and cargo service providers within a short distance of the international airport.
With a total of 35,041 sq. ft indoor warehouse space and an additional fenced-in outdoor laydown area, the facility provides secure and efficient loading and unloading of cargo, line-item checking, packing and distribution and storage of materials and equipment. From the facility, the staff handles various types of cargo, including in and out-of-gauge cargoes and breakbulk cargo for storage and transit operations.
“At Blue Water Houston, we cater supply chain solutions for our oil & gas, chemicals and renewables clients, ensuring their critical cargo arrives on time and in good condition. This location gives us the benefit of being close to key cargo handling points and mitigates the risk of losing valuable transportation time for our clients,” says Lucas Strom, Regional Director – Americas.
The warehouse will also have a strong focus on serving the Caribbean market. With Blue Water’s strength of activity in the Caribbean, among Guyana, Trinidad and a soon-to-be-opened office in Suriname, cargo sourced from the US and Houston, serving the Caribbean market, can be delivered to meet the rigorous demands of the business.
