Blue Water appointed port agents for a new service to Esbjerg

Effective teamwork and dedicated efforts bring the right solutions
Recently, Blue Water’s Energy & Projects division arranged two air charters in close cooperation with our global Air Chartering desk.
For one of our long-time Oil & Gas clients, we chartered an Antonov AN-124 to transport offshore equipment from Denmark to Australia - a distance of almost 6,300 miles. Thanks to efficient coordination between the client’s representatives, the airline and our own experts, we succeeded in getting the aircraft in the air despite tough weather conditions with drifting snow and severe frost.
However, the challenges did not stop here. Unforeseen volcanic activity en route forced us to come up with a successful alternative flight plan which worked out to the full understanding and satisfaction of our client.
The same week, we also arranged an Antonov AN-12 for the same client. This job was handled professionally by our strong, local Caribbean team - also in close cooperation with our global Air Chartering desk - and the distance covered from Trinidad to Australia was approx. 9,000 miles.
“Blue Water’s specialist teams always cooperate and contribute dedicated efforts to create the right solutions for our clients. With our strong, local Blue Water setup in the Caribbean, we can provide our clients with the same high quality as expected from us globally”, says Michael Teelucksingh, General Manager Energy & Projects, Blue Water Trinidad.
