Blue Water’s Norway office is strengthened with a team of four dedicated Reefer Road employees. This is the first time that the company opens Reefer Road business activity in Norway. Previously, Norwegian reefer clients were managed from Blue Water’s office in Aalborg. In line with the company’s values and commitment to be best in town, the decision was made to set up a local team being closer to clients.

The local presence coincides with the signing of five major Norwegian reefer clients, bringing significant extra volume each week both via the new Reefer Terminal in Padborg as well as via a terminal in Oslo. These new clients, combined with our existing solid Norwegian client base, made it the right time for a Reefer Road presence in Norway.

"Our Blue Water trucks already drive around Norway, and we regularly visit customers. This additional local manpower makes us even more visible as a trusted partner for transporting all types of temperature-controlled products,” says Rene Busekist Ohlsen, Blue Water’s Director Reefer Road.

Main focus is export of fish and seafood

Reefer Road Norway manages the transport of fish and seafood from Norway to the continent for various clients. The main thrust is outbound transport, but all temperature-controlled commodities can be transported in and out of the country. The four-person team, based in Oslo, consists of Erlend Pekeberg, Head of Reefer Road Norway, Lisa Lund, Freight Forwarding Agent, and two additional operational colleagues, all of whom are keen to establish relationships with local partners.

“We have a proven track record and in-house competencies for reefer logistics in Norway, being a reliable partner that is reachable and creates swift solutions for your logistic needs,” concludes Busekist Ohlsen.
