Blue Water Shipping has been chosen as logistics partner for the five-year special periodical survey for Maersk Drilling's semi-submersible rig "Maersk Deliverer". Previously, Blue Water has provided transport and logistics services in connection with yard stays for several other Maersk rigs.

"We are very pleased that Maersk Drilling once again has chosen us as their partner. It makes us proud to receive the recognition of our efforts from one of the biggest players in the oil and gas industry. We are committed to deliver top-class service to Maersk Drilling in every respect", says Thomas Bek, Global Head of Oil, Gas and Industrial Projects.

The yard stay project will be carried out in South Africa from July until the end of August, where Blue Water will be responsible for all transport-related assignments, warehousing and quayside crane operations. The project will involve many of Blue Water's worldwide offices in arranging a large number of very crucial and time-sensitive shipments by air and ocean.

"Our experience is important as these types of projects are complex. When coordinating the transports of spare parts and other services in connection with yard stays for these rigs, there is no room for errors. We focus on precision, flexibility and high quality as vital elements throughout our entire involvement in the project", says Thomas Bek.

Amongst various transport and logistics tasks that Blue Water has carried out for Maersk Drilling over the years, the award of another yard stay proves that the solutions from Blue Water are of the highest quality.
