Since the expansion in 2013, the port of Hvide Sande (on the Danish west coast north of Esbjerg) has experienced increased traffic from large offshore vessels. In the end of 2015, the port reached a milestone with the call of the largest ship that has ever called at the port - the installation vessel "Sea Installer" operated by A2SEA.

Blue Water acted as agents for the installation vessel. Agency services were also provided to M/S "Triton" and Blue Water also handled the loading operations of 18 wind blades on to the ship.

"It was the first time such a large amount of blades was loaded in Hvide Sande and the operation went well. We are pleased that our agency for the "Sea Installer" went as planned and that we were appointed agent again when the vessel returned to the port, says Søren Stougaard, who is responsible for Blue Water's Danish port agency activities.
