“The current favorable market conditions have made Brazilian products very competitive. This has resulted in a boom in export of reefer products in 2017. As we hope to be able to continue this trend in 2018, we keep a strong focus on promoting our business”, says Priscilla Souza, General Manager for Blue Water in São Paulo.

When Priscilla Souza and Caroline Varandas from Blue Water’s São Paulo office visited one of the world’s most important food and beverage exhibitions, Anuga in Cologne, Germany, the purpose was to promote Blue Water to further grow our volume of export cargo from Brazil. Exhibitors from all over the world participated in the famous food fair including the Brazilian Agricultural Minister who was there to promote Brazil and Brazilian food products.

“It was a very successful exhibition for us. We met a lot of clients and discussed opportunities for future business with them. It is always good to meet our clients personally, as it enables us to build and strengthen personal relations and gain trust. After the exhibition, we have succeeded in securing some business. Our hope is to further develop the export volume in 2018”, says Priscilla Souza.

Since Blue Water São Paulo was established in 2003, the office has built its current strong position as transport provider of Brazilian reefer shipments of poultry, beef and pork to West Africa, Europe and the rest of the world.
