On Saturday, Danish triathlete Camilla Pedersen, who is sponsored by Blue Water, was awarded the prize as 'Athlete of the year' in Denmark. The prize is awarded by Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten and the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark (DIF). One year after a serious bike crash, she has fought her way back and won the world championship. In 2014, she won eight out of the twelve competitions she participated in.

The jury emphasized that Camilla has made an impressive comeback and added that her dedication to the sport, her willpower and toughness deserve tribute. This is something that Kurt Skov, founder and chairman of Blue Water, agrees with. With his great interest for sport, he follows Camilla's performances closely.
