Complex transport to Russia

The 22 trucks concerned have in total covered a distance equal to almost twice the circumference of the earth

This is how it looks when the assignment includes customs clearance and delivery of 22 full loads to arrive in block in Russia – approx. 3,100 km from Tandslet in Denmark.

Recently, Blue Water’s office in Herning, Denmark arranged the transport of 22 full loads to Russia for our good client Frontmatec in Tandslet. Our scope included coordination and transportation of the 22 loads to arrive in block at the customs point in Russia.

”Customs Carrier status was arranged for several of the truck loads. Customs Carrier-status was necessary due to the need for increased customs guarantee. In addition to coordinating arrival in block to the customs point, coordination of the loads with Customs Carrier status was also needed. All in all a complex job, but we like challenges, and the job was performed to the client’s complete satisfaction”, says Carsten Albæk Olsen, Business Development Manager, Blue Water Herning, who hopes to be appointed by Frontmatic for their future transport/logistics to Russia.

The trucks have in total covered a distance equal to almost twice the circumference of the earth. Four days after arrival to the customs point in Russia, the goods were cleared through customs and delivered at Frontmatec’s client in Atyashevo in Mordovia, Russia.

Frontmatec develops world-leading customised solutions for automation in the food industry, other hygiene sensitive industries and the utilities industry.
