Earlier this year, Jørgen Wisborg joined Blue Water's Board of Directors – and scheduled to take over the chairmanship from founder Kurt Skov after an introductory period. The planned change of chairman will take effect from 1 November, after which Kurt Skov will continue as member of the Board of Directors.

"Since joining the Board of Directors, Jørgen Wisborg has gained good and solid insight into and understanding of Blue Water's business, organisation and values. He contributes to the positive cooperation internally in the Board of Directors and in relation to the Executive Management, and I look forward to further cooperation with Jørgen. I know he will be a valuable chairman who will contribute to a continued positive strategic development of Blue Water in close cooperation with the rest of the Board of Directors and the Executive Management", says Kurt Skov, who is also looking forward to his new roles as a member.

"Everyone in Blue Water can be proud of the position Blue Water holds today. I will continue to contribute to the development of the company but leave it to others to be the pushing forces in the work”.

Jørgen Wisborg is ready for the new task, and in recent months he has only been confirmed in the good match.

"I have received a very warm and positive welcome, and I have been confirmed that the culture, values and ambitions of everyone in Blue Water are very strong. As chairman, I will have great respect for maintaining and developing our culture and dedication in order to continue the profitable growth based on our strong customer focus," says Jørgen Wisborg.

There will also be changes to the deputy chairmanship, where Anne Skov will become deputy chairman together with Jørgen Meyer. Thus, the entire Board of Directors of Blue Water is as follows: Jørgen Wisborg (Chairman), Anne Skov (Deputy Chairman), Jørgen Meyer (Vice Chairman), Kurt Skov, Niels Kaalund and Merete Søby.
